Rules of MOPPL

  1. The player will have to create a squad of 16 stocks from the list of stocks shared. Each stock depending upon its market cap, will have specific points allotted to it. Once created, the squad cannot be changed in the entire tournament. The points allocation on the stocks-
    • Mega cap: 20 points
    • Large cap: 10 points
    • Mid cap: 6 points
    • Small cap: 3 points
  2. Squad of 16 stocks need to have minimum -
    • 2 Mega caps
    • 3 Large caps
    • 4 Mid caps
    • 4 Small caps
  3. The players will get 100 points to form a team from their squad. The players have to utilise a minimum of 75 points & a maximum of 100 points to create a team of 11 stocks from their squad. The team need to be formed before 9 am on match day and cannot be changed during the game.
  4. The portfolio of 11 stocks must have-
    • Min 1 & Max 3 Mega caps
    • Min 2 & Max 5 large caps
    • Min 2 & Max 5 mid-caps
    • Min 2 & Max 5 small caps
  5. The player, while creating the team can assign the team's Captain & Vice-captain.
  6. Once the team is created the player will be allotted a dummy credit of Rs 14lacs for investing in the portfolio. The investment amount for captain & vice-captain is fixed at Rs 3 lacs & 2 lacs, respectively.
  7. The player can allocate a maximum of Rs 1 lac on each of the remaining 9 stocks of the portfolio.
  8. Once the team is ready, the player can select any of the portfolios from the 8 teams of Motilal Oswal for the match.
  9. The portfolio's performance will be judged basis and the percentage change of the portfolios or the net gain rate.
  10. The winner portfolio will get 2 points. In case of a draw or match cancellation, one point will be given to each player.
  11. The portfolios are allowed to be restructured before the start of the match, i.e. by 9 a.m. The reshuffling is permitted only among the squad.
  12. The leaderboard will include the performance of all the participants.
